MADEWELL
After working at Paper, I started freelancing. From the fall of 2014 to the spring of 2015, I worked at Madewell as a copywriter, helping the editorial team with assignments ranging from product copy and promo emails to collection guides, including the Spring/Summer 2015 Guidebook and Denim Fit Guide.
The Guidebook
Used by store associates, The Guidebook was a seasonal tell-all. From collection inspiration to fit notes, it turned design room inspiration and intentions into a selling tools. One of the original ways content was used to drive commerce.
Denim Fit Guide
When I was at Madewell, denim was a core part of their brand identity. It drove sales and storytelling. Each season, the copy team would brainstorm new ways to speak to their core styles and any new additions. This copy was used across Madewell.com and in a printed fit guide for store associates.
